Take a guided hike to the highest point on Canouan Island. At 877 Mount Royal offers commanding views of the estate and breathtaking landscape beyond. Discover the flora and fauna of the island as the trail winds through thick forest up a steep, single track. Turtles, hummingbirds, tree-climbing hermit crabs and a variety of plants including orchids and aloes will punctuate your ascent. At the summit your efforts are rewarded with stunning views north toward Mustique and south to Mayreau, Palm Island, Union Island and Petit St. Vincent. Those fortunate to enjoy the hike on a very clear day, may spot Grenada too.
